What procedures would a dentist do if you have bad breath i brush my teeth floss and do also mouth wash?

but is not helping any other suggestion on what a dentist would do to take the bad odor away other things he would do to make it better

Teeth have been brushed. Does not eat table scraps.Teeth in good shape. Killer breath. He loves vegies so getting him to eat parsley would not be a problem.
